Save-the-date photo ideas that leave room for text
A save-the-date photo has one job: look good behind two names and a date. These scenes have the space for it:
- Bouquet Hide — the bouquet over his face, her laugh; playful and very readable at card size.
- Walking Away — hand in hand from behind on seamless white; the empty top half is made for type.
- Beach Sparklers — blue-hour sky over the sea, sparklers in hand.
- Cherry Blossoms — soft pink frame for a spring wedding.
- Picnic From Above — overhead shot with the gown fanned in a circle; centre the date in the middle.
- Vintage Rolls-Royce — a classic 'just engaged' look.
Printing a save-the-date
For printed cards, choose the Executive pack: its 4K files are large enough for postcards and A5 prints. 2K files from Basic and Professional are ideal for digital save-the-dates sent by message or email.
One-time packs. No subscription.

Frequently asked questions
Can I make a save-the-date photo with AI?
Yes. Upload one selfie of each of you and choose a scene; the result is a portrait of the two of you that you can put on a card or a digital save-the-date.
Does it add our names and date?
The photos come without text so a designer — or our free invitation builder — can place your names and date. The image model is told not to add text, watermarks or logos.
How fast can I have it?
Usually 2–10 minutes per generation.
What does it cost?
It is a paid tool with one-time packs: Basic $29 for 12 photos at 2K, Professional $45 for 32 photos at 2K, Executive $110 for 48 photos at 4K. No subscription, nothing renews, and credits never expire. Before paying you can make a free likeness preview — a sketch of your face — to check the resemblance.
Can I print them?
Executive renders 4K, enough for printed postcards. Basic and Professional render 2K, best for digital cards.
How close is the likeness?
They are AI-generated, so treat them as portraits made from your features rather than a photograph of a day that happened. Every image is checked against your upload for resemblance before it reaches you, and a clear, front-facing selfie in daylight gives the closest result. Hands, jewellery and small text can still come out imperfect; that is why each credit returns four takes.
